Compare prices and visit with local people

If you have to buy something when you are traveling,
Do not go alone,
try to visit several shops with local people.

I wanted to buy a new battery of my camera.
I've been to markets with my Moroccan friends in Rabat and Fes, Morocco.
They said it costed 150 MAD(Moroccan Dirham).
I found a shop which said to me 130 MAD.
I didn't have money in my pocket at that time,
so I visited the same shop next day alone, but the shop was closed.

I asked the next shop about the price, a guy told me 250 MAD.
He was so cool that not a muscle of his face moved.
100 MAD more in a day? No way! I said I wouldn't buy it.
The guy stopped me, and after the bargain, I reduced the price to 130 MAD.
I was not sure if it was new battery or not.
Because the box of battery was very old, but the price was reasonable,
and I was not sure if I left the shop in Rabat, if I would be able to buy a new battery.
I bought it at 130 MAD.

If you are not in a hurry, it's always better to go to several shops with your local friends of course.
