Hitchhiking a truck from Argentina to Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2000km ride nonstop

I have just arrived in Sao Paulo yesterday early in the morning.
A Bolivian man Richard helped me to come here by his big big truck which can carries many cars. We made almost 2000km nonstop. He drove so fast, it was like a roller coaster ride for more than 20 hours. His truck had a problem, we found smoke from the backside of his truck. It was on Sunday, for that we couldn't repair it. I was concerned about explosion or fire on it. Whenever he drove the wrong way in order to make passing relatively slower other cars, I was so nervous. Falling asleep at the wheel or a slight mistake could kill us without a trace, I was worried about that as well. I tried not to sleep, because I didn't want to make him sleepy, I was exhausted. Anyway Richard was an excellent driver, for him it's just a routine-jobs. We arrived in Sao Paulo, safely. I don't know if Richard usually expresses his love to his family or not, but he doesn't mind to drive more than thousands of kilometers, it's very tough and hard. I think it is more than words.

When I was flying from Senegal, Africa to Ushuaia, Argentina, I transferred the flight in Sao Paulo. Every cars along the streetlamps dotted looked so small like toys from the sky in Sao Paulo. But now I feel like I'm the ant in the toy car in exactly the same place.
